How does the 'report a player' system work?

When a player reports another player, the report is sent directly to the live moderators for review and action will be taken accordingly. If your child is having problems with another player, they can report what happened by clicking on the Bin Weevil, then clicking the 'police light' icon under their profile box.

If a player is reported but they haven't broken any Bin Weevils rules, nothing will happen. Therefore, you do not need to worry if your child has been reported by another player unfairly.

Is Bin Weevils chat safe for my child?

Bin Weevils takes safety very seriously. We use a sophisticated chat filtering system in conjunction with live moderation to ensure that our chat environment is as safe as possible for users of all ages. Bin Weevils blocks inappropriate and profane language as well as attempts to exchange personal information including emails, phone numbers, real names and location. The system profiles every player’s behaviour, monitoring them over time. If a player breaks the rules, they will receive a moderator warning followed by a series of escalating chat suspensions, and our moderation team may also contact the player's parent.

How do I cancel my recurring payment for a Bin Tycoon membership?

Memberships can be cancelled by visiting the Manage Account tab within the Membership section. If you are a PayPal subscriber, you can also cancel directly through your PayPal account by managing the subscription from your PayPal dashboard. What if I don’t want my payment to recur after the first charge?

You can cancel your membership at any time, including the same day you subscribe. Simply cancel your membership immediately after your first payment has been processed. My credit card has expired / my payment details have changed – how do I update them?

If you need to update your card details, please contact your payment provider directly (eg. PayPal). Bin Weevils does not have access to any of your financial information, so we cannot update it for you. If you do not update your details before your next payment is due, this will result in outstanding payments, so please update your details as soon as you can with the payment provider, or cancel all your recurring payments via the Manage Account section under Membership. You will always be able to create a new Bin Tycoon membership later using your new details.
